Initial situation: A renowned manufacturer of designer upholstered furniture processes preliminary products from different suppliers. Task: All preliminary products that are required for production are to be available just-in-sequence without the manufacturing company having to deal with goods receipt, quality control, professional storage and provision. Implementation: GRT assumes responsibility for the goods receipt and the storage. An hourly call-up notification is done via a direct IT connection. GRT puts the preliminary products together in the sequence of production and supplies between 3,500 and 4,000 individual parts directly to the production every day with precise timing. |

Initial situation: The market leader in the area of large wood processing machines supplies its products all over the world with a variety of shipment methods. Task: For this complex area of tasks, a logistics partner is needed that takes over the finished machines and systems from the production, offers professional interim storage and delivers to the customers at the right time. Implementation: GRT takes over the complete responsibility for everything that happens between the production and the handover to the customer. These include the collection, storage, scheduling, selection of transportation method, packaging appropriate for the transportation method (e.g. for sea freight). |

Initial situation: A retail chain for pet supplies with a network of stores in southern Germany. Task: All stores are supplied directly with pre-commissioned goods. Implementation: GRT takes over the pre-commissioned goods in the central warehouse, transfers these in the Sulz depot and supplies the stores in the early morning. HGVs with tail lifts are used for the smaller stores without a ramp. |

Initial situation: A supplier of stainless steel sinks (30 series / 220 components) sells complete products from different components that are produced in different countries. Task: Delivery of the complete products ordered in one consignment. The customer does not operate its own warehouse. Implementation: GRT shall take over the goods from all production sites and will store these until they are called up. The commissioning is done after daily receipt of the order by the customer. GRT takes over the complete responsibility for goods receipt checking, storage, compilation of the components pursuant to the customer order, professional packing and shipment to the final customer. |
